All ANDOR skateboards need no sandpaper, as its original scale pattern gives you the traction and grip you need to ride safely. Made of solid beech wood, protected with 100% natural beeswax, which improves its durability, and prevents cracks. Each board has 8 small mounting holes, 4 near the nose and 4 near the tail, drilled to allow the attachment of any trucks to the board.
In Andor we design skateboard decks prepared to roll, but we totally understand if you decide to hang it on the wall, as a design décor, as they are a piece of art as well.
How to take care of your ANDOR Skateboard
Keep your ANDOR Skateboard away from water, and at least one meter away from a direct source of heat (heaters, fireplaces etc.). The wood expands with humidity and contracts in dry periods. Never cover a solid wood skateboard with airtight materials, such as plastic. If the wood cannot breathe, it could crack.
Andor skateboards are protected with beeswax, and in order to maintain its original surface, it should be reapplied at least twice a year, depending on its use. We recommend you always treat both sides of a wooden surface, to keep the same color and appearance.
Maintenance: Use a fine sandpaper to remove the first layer of dust, then carefully brush the entire surface and finally with a dry 100% cotton cloth, gently spread the beeswax.
With regular maintenance and care, your Andor Skateboard will not only last for decades but also keep its natural beauty.
